I’m Viorel Petrea — a senior full‑stack engineer with more than a decade of experience building, scaling, and maintaining digital platforms across industries like insurance, pharma, real estate, and sports. Over the years, I’ve been part of cross‑functional teams, collaborated with designers, architects, QA, and product owners, and helped deliver projects that needed both technical depth and clear communication.
I founded Wildcats Digital as a one‑man studio because I enjoy working closely with clients, understanding their challenges, and delivering solutions without layers, delays, or surprises. Whether I join your existing team or support it as an external expert, my goal is always the same: build stable, scalable, and well‑engineered systems that stand the test of time.
My background spans backend development, frontend implementation, cloud services, integrations, and long‑term platform maintenance. I’ve led features, mentored developers, improved architectures, and helped teams move faster by bringing clarity and senior‑level decision‑making.
If you want to get a deeper sense of how I think, what I’ve learned, and the topics I care about, I write regularly on my personal blog: www.viorelpetrea.com. It’s where I share insights on engineering, productivity, and the lessons I’ve gathered throughout my career.
